The GEN 7–10K is a high-power hybrid inverter series designed for residential and small-scale energy storage applications. It integrates PV, battery, grid and backup power for flexible energy management.

Yes. It can operate with PV and battery storage without continuous grid availability, making it suitable for off-grid systems and locations with weak or unstable utility power.

Yes. When the grid is unavailable, the inverter can continue supplying connected backup loads using available PV and battery energy.

Yes. Its higher power range makes it suitable for systems with larger loads. Air conditioners, pumps, motors and other high-startup-power appliances should be sized according to both their continuous and surge power requirements.

 Battery selection should consider both usable energy capacity (kWh) and maximum discharge current. For high-power applications, sufficient battery discharge capability is especially important to ensure the inverter can deliver the required output.

Yes. A compatible generator can be integrated as an additional AC energy source to support loads and charge the battery when PV or stored energy is insufficient.

Yes. It supports export control and scheduled battery charging/discharging, helping users increase solar self-consumption and optimize energy use according to electricity tariffs.

Compatible GEN units support parallel system configurations for applications requiring higher power capacity. Parallel installation should follow LuxpowerTek’s applicable wiring, communication and configuration requirements.

Yes. With the appropriate communication device, the inverter can connect to LuxCloud for remote monitoring of PV, battery, grid and load data. Supported settings and system management functions can also be accessed remotely.
